January 2-4

Wednesday
Students will get new seats, and then we will go over the recent convection lab. Finally, they will learn about the flow of air around high and low pressure systems (brief notes). If you were gone be sure to read text pages 537-539 (honors 533-534).

Thursday
Students will watch a video about WWII balloon bombs (related to the jet stream), and then take notes as Benson explains several aspects of jet streams. If you were gone, watch this video, read this web page, and read this one also. Also read text pages 572-574 (honors 562-564).

Friday
Students will take notes on a handout as Benson explains various hazards associated with thunderstorms. If you were gone be sure to watch watch/read all of the links below.
