Students will watch a video (NOVA: Magnetic Storm).
Wednesday
Students will take notes as they learn about the theory of Plate Tectonics. If you were gone, read text pages 248-261 (honors 194-200). If you are confused about paleomagnetism, watch this 8.5-minute video.
Thursday
Students will learn about the Mariana Trench (short video and activity). If you were gone, watch this video (9 minutes).
Friday
Students will do a group problem-solving activity related to the motion of tectonic plates.
