Monday
Students will take a test over Plate Tectonics, Volcanoes, and Earthquakes.

Tuesday - Revised due to late start.
Students will take watch the first 20-30 minutes of a video about the geology of Yosemite. Here is a link to the 43-minute video.

Wednesday
We will finish the video and then students will take a pre-test related to the next unit.

Thursday
Students will do an activity to introduce them to minerals.

Friday
Students will take notes as Mrs. Murray explains igneous rocks. If you miss this day, get a handout, copy the notes, and read text pages 72-74 (honors pages 56-61).

Wednesday
Students will take notes as Mrs. Murray explains hazards associated with earthquakes.

Thursday
Students will take notes as they learn about Montana earthquakes. If you were gone, get the notes and read read this and this also.

Friday

We will review the three types of volcanism, and then students will learn about 3 great eruptions.
