March 16-20

Monday
Students will take notes on a handout. The topic of the presentation for periods 1, 3, 4 is "Earthquake Hazards". The topic of the presentation for periods 5 and 7 is "Earthquake Basics". Honors students should click on these links to print out guidelines for the Disaster Paper or the Science Circus Project

Tuesday
Periods 1, 3, 4 will watch a video called "Ultimate Tsunami". If you were gone, do 11-20 on page 243 (periods 1, 3, 4 only). Periods 5 and 7 will take notes on a handout (Earthquake Hazards).

Wednesday
Periods 1, 3, 4 will take notes on a handout (Montana Earthquakes). Periods 5 and 7 will watch "Ultimate Tsunami".

Thursday
Periods 1, 3, 4 will do a group problem-solving activity (Locating Epicenters). If you were gone, do this Virtual Earthquake Activity - put your answers on your own paper and hand it in (periods 1, 3, 4 only). Periods 5 and 7 will take notes on a handout (Montana Earthquakes).

Friday
All classes will watch a video about the 2011 Earthquake/Tsunami in Japan.
